Murali Madhavam

This play is an adaptation from the times of Dwapara, telling the story of the evolution of a devotee into an image of His chosen God. Interspersed with a series of dances, the one-hour presentation is a visual treat, rich with melodious music and colourful costumes.

Sai Africa Adult Choir

The choir starts with an English song composed by Jude Nnam titled "Happy Birthday Baba". This was followed by songs drawn from various African countries. The program concluded with an English prayer to Bhagawan titled "Sai Baba - Great Navigator".

85th Birthday celebrations

Hon'ble External Affairs Minister SM Krishna, Union Ministers Sushil Kumar Shinde and Vilasrao Deshmukh, Governor of Andhra Pradesh ESL Narasimhan, Governor of Punjab Shivraj Patil, Dy.CM Tamilnadu Stalin, Union Minister Virbhadra Singh, Minister from Andhra Pradesh Dr. J. Geeta Reddy, and Industrialist Sri Ratan Tata were among the host of dignitaries present on the occasion.

The Vidya Vahini project to help rural schools give values-based education was announced, a new significant project by Swami.

In the evening activities included singing by past and current college boys, fireworks, and a lasar show.

Vidhya Vahini

Balvikas children along with students from Sri Sathya Sai School, Anand Vilas, Shimla represented the state of Himachal Pradesh with the story of ten Avatars of Lord Vishnu. Swami posed for pictures and stayed a long time.

The twin states of Bihar and Jharkhand presented a colourful dance drama. Mother is referred to as "Shakthi" and the programme begins showing Shakthi Durga's manifestations into five mothers: Veda Mata, Bhu Mata, Gau Mata, Desha Mata, and Deha Mata.

Syan Sya Aradhanai

The twin states from the North of India, UP and Uttarakhand, present a programme in Hindi, "Syan Sya Aradhana". The play is based on the rich cultural traditions of northern region of Kumaon Mandal in Uttarakhand. A model of three holy shrines in the states was shown to Swami.

Mahishasura Mardini

A musical ballet on the mythical story of Mashishasura was enacted by the youth from the twin states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh. The presentation is an adaptation from Durga Puran.

Vedanjali

This 40-minute presentation, in Telugu, by the youth of Andhra Pradesh, was a visual essay of the fostering of the Vedas by the Avatar of the Age, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Safari cloth distribution, Prasadh distribution, and photos with Swami all took place.

The Alwars

were Tamil poet saints of south India who lived between sixth and ninth centuries and espoused devotion to Lord Vishnu through their compositions, singing love and surrender to the Lord.

These four days of festivities and rituals include chanting of mantras 10,000 times, bhajans, and rituals such as a Maha Sudarshana Homam, a fire ritual aimed at world peace (on the third morning), performed toward Sri Chakkarathalwar, who is also known as Sudarshan Alwar.
