19 July 2008. Austrian Hallelujah

The Sai Choir of Austria gave a rousing performance, singing 9-10 songs in German, their mother tongue. We hear Mozart's Hallelujah. The song "Wenn wir erklimme" expresses the idea of climbing a mountain to reach the goal of merging. Many of the songs used yodeling, a particularly unique Austrian-Germanic way of singing.

This intriguingly beautiful and different concert enthralled everyone!
